After graduating from University College Northampton in 2002 with a First Class BSc Honours degree in Computer Communications, I joined Northamptonshire Police in a civilian role. Leaving in 2011, I had spent seven years in the Information Unit, where I became a Team Leader; and two years providing PNC training to officers and staff. I was accredited as an NPIA PNC/ICT Trainer in 2007, and was part of the award-winning Mobile Data Training team in 2008/9.

During my time as a stay at home parent, I spent two years as a voluntary Treasurer of a local Pre-School, where I gained a passion for bookkeeping. I have obtained the Level 2, 3 and 4 Certificates in Bookkeeping with Distinctions, and I hold Full Membership of the ICB, a Practice Licence and Professional Indemnity Insurance. In 2016 I completed the Level 3 Diploma in Self-Assessment Tax Returns, and in 2017 the Level 3 Diploma in Payroll Management.

Since March 2015 I have been working as a bookkeeper for an award-winning, fast paced, innovative children's game manufacturer in Northampton, which sells their products globally, and am delighted to be working with other local businesses within the following sectors:

International and Local Retail in a variety of sectors to include online sales on a variety of platforms

Residential Care for young people with ASD

Community Theatre

Property Landlords

Childcare Provision

Professional services e.g dog grooming, home and garden maintenance and Information Technology Services
